Version dated 11 August 2026
Terms and conditions
These terms govern the use of the Marabou Resort website and enquiries sent through its digital channels.
1. Website operator
The marabouresort.ro website is operated by MARABOU EVENTS SRL, with its registered office at 4 Aluniș Street, Săcele, Brașov County, Romania, registered with the Trade Register under no. J2024001053089, tax identification number 49839502. Contact: rezervari@marabouresort.ro and +40 774 602 925.
“Marabou” means the website operator and the services presented under the Marabou Resort brand. These terms apply to browsing the website and to enquiries sent through forms or contact links.
2. Accepting the terms and accessing the website
By using the website, you confirm that you have read these terms and will use it lawfully. If you do not agree, please do not submit an enquiry through the website.
We may update, suspend or temporarily restrict certain functions for maintenance, security or reasons beyond our control. We aim to keep the website available and its information accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the absolute absence of errors.
3. Information and services presented
The website provides general information about Marabou Resort services: accommodation, dining, pool access and private or corporate events. Photographs, descriptions, capacities, facilities, price ranges and availability may be updated.
General website information does not by itself constitute a contractual offer. Individually communicated details in a written proposal, booking confirmation, contract, invoice or rules for the selected service prevail if they differ from the general presentation.
4. Enquiries, proposals and bookings
Submitting a form, email or WhatsApp message is a request for information and does not automatically reserve a room, table, pool access or event date. A booking becomes firm only after express confirmation from Marabou and, where applicable, acceptance of specific conditions, signature of a contract or payment of the requested deposit.
For accommodation, the website may redirect you to the official Pynbooking engine. Availability, price and conditions shown in that flow must be checked before confirmation, and the booking engine terms apply to a transaction completed there.
5. Prices, payments, changes and cancellations
Website prices are those displayed at the time of viewing and may be indicative where a service requires a tailored proposal. The final proposal will state the services included, applicable taxes, payment deadlines and validity period.
Change, cancellation, no-show and refund conditions differ by service and are those communicated before confirmation through Pynbooking, the written proposal, applicable rules or contract. These general terms do not replace the specific commercial conditions accepted for a booking.
6. Permitted use and intellectual property
The website may not be used to submit false information, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt operation, introduce malicious code, perform abusive automated collection or infringe the rights of others.
The text, photographs, graphics, trade marks, logo and website structure belong to Marabou or are used with permission and are protected by intellectual-property law. You may view them for personal use; reproduction, republication or commercial use requires the rights holder’s written permission.
7. External services, liability and force majeure
The website links to external services including Pynbooking, WhatsApp, Google Maps, the virtual tour and social networks. These services are operated by third parties under their own terms and policies; Marabou does not control their availability or operation.
To the extent permitted by law, Marabou is not liable for technical interruptions, third-party information or indirect loss arising solely from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Neither party is liable for failure caused by force majeure, as defined by applicable law.
8. Applicable law, complaints and changes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If an issue arises, please first contact us at rezervari@marabouresort.ro so that we can seek a direct solution. Consumers may also use the Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanism coordinated by the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection at anpc.ro/sal, without losing their right to apply to the competent courts.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, services or law. The version in force is the one published on this page when the website is used; conditions already accepted for a booking remain governed by the documents for that specific confirmation.
